Warren County Court House

As a public meeting hall the old court house, which stood next to the current, was the site of the first recorded anti-slavery act in Warren County, the 1831 petition calling for an end of slavery in the District of Columbia, as well as the meeting house for the public rally demanding opposition to the Kansas Nebraska Act in 1854.
